What kind of project turnaround should I expect?
You should expect that any deadline that we agree upon will be met. After living in Japan for 8 years, there is nothing more important to me than being on time, keeping in touch and building my reputation for reliability. Call me and I will give you a detailed prospectus within 24 hours.
What types of big projects have you worked on?
When I was working with THE BLASTHAUS, an artist production company, our small team was responsible for producing all of the advertisements and arranging all of the engagements for the launch of the electronica music magazine, “Revolution”, featuring Madonna. This launch included producing a RAVE in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and a nationwide 25-city tour of several famous English DJs.
Are you able to collaborate with my design team or coordinate other designers?
With my BA in fine art from the San Francisco Art Institute and my experience teaching art, I am confident in my ability to communicate quickly and clearly with your designers. As well, after producing over 10 solo exhibitions of my own artwork, and working in 2 professional art galleries as a salesperson, I am very aware of the need for a perfectly polished presentation.
That is also why, when you need it to look the best it can possibly be, I will gladly work with your design team or coordinate with professional designers in my area.
What kind of quality can I expect?
Musashi Miyamoto, a feudal samurai from Japan’s Edo era defined the idea of perfection as the word for “path”. He meant to say that by following the path of perfection, a samurai could become perfect in any of the arts of combat. In the modern day that means that everything that you put out on the internet must be perfect as well. It only takes one small mistake to lose your customer’s trust.
As a writer, I pursue perfection through a rigorous peer review system. This begins with doing tireless research of your company, your product, market and target customer. I build the foundation, laying every element of your offer out for you to see before ever going forward. Then I begin to arrange my ideas, copying them over and over again on a manual typewriter until I know that I’ve got the flow and substance of the message right. After that, I edit, revise and send it off to my group of 5 copywriters for peer review. Again more revisions and editing until I am ready to give it to my target group of readers. When that comes back, the process may start all over. Only when I know that it’s the best work that I can possibly do, I’ll send it to my professional line editor to check for syntax or other errors. This is the process that I have developed from my professional training at American Writers and Artists International as well as from collaborating on 5 art books in Japan and self publishing my own novel. When you get my final copy, you can be sure that it will be absolutely perfect.
What type of research do you do?
I will learn your business inside and out, and I will never begin to write until I feel like I know your customers personally. I’ve found from personal experience how valuable an outside opinion can be for a business. So more than just writing your promotions, I want to be able to give marketing insight that you can use to improve your business. The costs of setting up a business or launching a new product are simply too high to leave anything to chance. Thorough due diligence is the best and most cost effective way to save yourself time, money and frustration. It can also give you the confidence of knowing that your marketing is in the right place before you go ahead.
What kind of guarantee do you offer?
As someone who has been skateboarding for 30 years, I know what it means to “commit to it”.
Anyone can throw themselves down 14 stairs, the key is to focus all of your concentration and belief into the very last second of execution. As a business man, that means that I am someone who will see your project through from beginning to end with no excuses. To exemplify that philosophy in my business, I’ll make a guarantee that if you are ever unsatisfied with my work, or receive sub-par results, I will either re-do the project or I won’t charge you a thing. Not many advertisers out there are willing to give you anything close to that.
